Pastor Donald began the New Year as our Called Pastor on January 1, 2014.

Donald graduated from Dubuque Theological Seminary, Dubuque, IA with a Masters’ Degree in Divinity.  He will begin studies in the Doctor of Ministry Distance Program of Fuller Theological Seminary in 2014.

Donald served as a student pastor for two years in Illinois and Iowa while attending seminary.  His ministry included preaching, choir and soloist, children’s ministry coordinator and youth ministry.

‘My life’s adventure brought me through undergraduate studies with a double major in Bible Theology and Music and enough credit hours for a minor in Counseling.  From childhood forward, I was trained in voice, piano (for my own amazement), tuba (symphony/marching band), trumpet (band), double bass (symphony), harp (please don’t ask), and ballet (a very short punishment).

A 2010 trip to Ghana, West Africa, forever changed my life and reinforced my heart for mission, both in my community and in distant lands.

I am passionate about the Gospel, for the teachings of Jesus, for growth in the Word and in prayer, for congregational spiritual formation, and for community mission.

The awesome and gracious God we serve has brought me to this time and place to be of service for God’s glory, and I give God ALL the glory.  Amen.”
